Fabric is smooth and thick, perfect for moderate cold weather. Would not really recommend for extreme hot weather. It does shrink a little after its first wash but not really after multiple washes.

Does it get heated when something hot is poured in the cup? Does it catch scratches easily?

No, I bought bowls and cup separately. Regarding the quality, the gloss is good, and it is scratch proof even when rubbed with a scrubber which I really liked. It also does not get heated from outside when something hot is poured. It is not fragile and has intact clay formation. I’d recommend it 😀

how is the material? does it shrink after washing?
